Who we are

SyntaxEror SARL is a software engineering company registered in Tunisia (RNE / tax ID 1915221 F/A/M/000), with its registered office at 11 Rue Makther, Borj Louzir, Ariana, Tunisia. We are the data controller for the personal data processed through this website and act in accordance with Tunisian Organic Law n° 2004-63 on the protection of personal data.

Information we collect — Données collectées

• Contact information – name, email address, phone number, company name, and any details you submit when contacting us or booking a meeting.
• Payment and billing data – online payments (available to clients in Tunisia) are processed by our licensed payment provider, Flouci; we receive and store only the transaction reference, amount, status, and the name associated with the payment. We never receive or store card numbers or wallet credentials. For international clients paying by bank transfer, we process the billing details needed to issue and reconcile the invoice.
• Log data – standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited, timestamp) used for security and diagnostics.
• Cookies – strictly necessary cookies for session management and security. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

• To reply to your enquiries and schedule meetings.
• To prepare quotes, perform contracts, and deliver the services you order.
• To process payments, issue invoices, and prevent fraud.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services.
• To comply with Tunisian legal obligations (accounting, tax, and anti-fraud requirements) and to resolve disputes.

We collect only the data necessary for these purposes and do not use your data for any other purpose without informing you.

Data retention — Durée de conservation

• Contact and enquiry data: up to 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted.
• Contract, invoicing, and transaction records: 10 years, as required by Tunisian accounting and tax law.
• Server logs: up to 12 months.
• Session cookies: deleted when the browser session ends.

When a retention period expires, the data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Sharing and disclosure

We never sell or rent your personal information. We share data only:

• With Flouci (payment platform licensed by the Central Bank of Tunisia) to process online payments in Tunisia.
• With Calendly when you book a meeting through the scheduling widget on our site (name, email, and the details you enter), and with Google for the resulting calendar events.
• With hosting and infrastructure providers who help us operate the site, under confidentiality obligations.
• When required by Tunisian law or a valid legal process.

Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted secrets storage, and access controls limited to authorised staff. No transmission over the internet is 100 percent secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we review our safeguards regularly.

Your rights — Droits des utilisateurs

Under Tunisian Organic Law n° 2004-63, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request the deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes above;
• object to a processing operation or withdraw your consent at any time;
• lodge a complaint with the Instance Nationale de Protection des Données Personnelles (INPDP) — www.inpdp.tn.

Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
